Dutch TV Station Omrop Fryslân chose 1080dots as solution for their broadcast information channel

TV station Omrop Fryslân has upgraded their broadcast information channel with the 1080dots solution. This new solution consists of the 1080dots DS Player+ and 1080dots DS Online for media management. Content already produced by the editorial office is coupled with 1080dots through XML.

Around the main programs the 1080dots DS system takes over, broadcasting different kinds of information and headlines (news, weather and sms ticker feeds,etc.) Omrop Fryslân plays out live streams from locations in- and outside their broadcast facility. This is possible with 1080dots through the integration with an Axis® Web Camera, using the 1080dots DS Player’s possibility to enable live switch-able mpeg4 streams from Axis® ip cameras.
